Project 2

PG Bison hosted a competition giving interior design and architecture students the opportunity to design a destination hotel based in South Africa for South Africans that celebrates the beauty of it’s location. The aim is to design a hotel that strays from the typical and overused designs seen in SA. The spatial requirements include a reception and dining area with a bar for guests. It should include a thirty-two square metre standard guestroom as well as a sixty-four square metre suite. Lastly, a two-hundred square metre rooftop experience with a pool area, signature dining and bar. My design was inspired by the symbolism of the South African Flag and what each of it's colours represent.
